I liked it because it was about a sport I enjoy, but didn’t like that the pitcher was being really mean to the catcher.

This book is very engaging and interesting. It is written in stanzas. In it there is a big event called the evacuation because of some imminent threat. I like this book because it has many events and every one is about a girl named Maddie and a Rottweiler named George. Every event has a problem and is very exciting. Maddie’s parents are divorced. In the beginning Maddie plans a secret sleepover with her friends Emma and Ashanti. But it doesn’t happen because Ashanti gets sick. Maddie tells both of her parents a lie and goes over to her grandparents summer apartment and spends the night. In the morning everyone is gone. It has a great ending.

I loved it because it was about boys and girls playing wiffle ball and the same team, and also how they became friends with the other team.

This was my favorite in the I Survived series so far because I liked how the author described what happened in the past. This is good for kids ages 9 or higher,
