This book is very engaging and interesting. It is written in stanzas. In it there is a big event called the evacuation because of some imminent threat. I like this book because it has many events and every one is about a girl named Maddie and a Rottweiler named George. Every event has a problem and is very exciting. Maddie’s parents are divorced. In the beginning Maddie plans a secret sleepover with her friends Emma and Ashanti. But it doesn’t happen because Ashanti gets sick. Maddie tells both of her parents a lie and goes over to her grandparents summer apartment and spends the night. In the morning everyone is gone. It has a great ending.

This book is amazing because I like them saving the chickens.

I recommend this book for kids nine or older because the shark situation was kind of scary. The author really had a good job showing the situation. Easy rear for a third grader or fourth grader.

This was a really good book. I recommend you to read it. It is a little sad, but the end is good. I really liked it. I love the Pinkalicious books.

This is a great book and a quick read. My favorite character is the shark because he reminds me of baby shark. Such a cute character.
